معرفی دو لاین خالص خوش کیفیت برنج حاصل از تلاقی ارقام دمسیاه و خزر

Rice grain consumed in Iran, as the second plays an important role in the food security of the people. Acceptances of new rice varieties are dependent on the tastes of consumers. Breeders are trying to release new rice varieties that high yield and good grain quality. Domsiah is one of the best landrace varieties of Iran that has long grain, good cooking quality, flavor and very suitable. Disadvantages of this are long height and low yield. On the other hand Khazar is the improved varieties that are high yield and intermediate height but does not have the same quality of local varieties .In 2003 with the aim of improved new rice varieties with suitable yield and good grain quality, hybridized Domsiah and Khazar. In the three next years have done three back crossed with Domsiah. In each generation were recorded morphological traits. Selection was pedigree methods. Finally between 134 recombinant pure lines, selected 2 lines RI82-98 and RI82-64.These lines have high yield and good grain quality, so they are suitable to release.
