Title
Comparison of different AMMI and SREG multivariate methods using a mixed model in stability analysis
Authors
Abstract
To compare the AMMI and SREG multivariate methods using mixed models, a study was performed at Gachsaran, Kohdasht and Ilam filed research stations during four years. Multivariate models of AMMI and SREG using restricted maximum likelihood under mixed model was performed. The variance between the lines was heterogeneous in four covariance's structure and for the selecting of the best methods, the restricted maximum likelihood via AIC statistic was applied. Results indicated that the SREG model is fitted better than AMMI model in all year except. In first year, for
SREG model, [FA0 (2)] ،[FA0(1)+REPEATED)] and [FA0(2)+REPEATED)] model better than FA0(1) model. In second year, [FA0 (2)] and [FA0(2)+REPEATED)] model had the less AIC statistic than the other models. In the third and fourth years, the model with heterogeneity of variance between locations was fitted much better.
